TypeFury was created with a simple goal: to make practicing typing feel exciting, rewarding, and fun. Most typing tests are bland, boring, and feel like homework. We built TypeFury to change that.

Using TypeFury is simple:

• Review results — After each test, you'll see a detailed breakdown with your WPM, accuracy, grade, and ranking.
• Track progress — Visit the Statistics section to see your WPM trend over time, personal bests, and recent test history.

Technology

TypeFury is built with modern web technologies for the fastest, most responsive experience possible:

• Web Audio API — All sound effects are generated in real time using the Web Audio API, providing zero-latency audio feedback with no external sound files to download.
• Canvas API — Particle effects and visual feedback are rendered using HTML5 Canvas for smooth 60fps animations.
• LocalStorage — All your data stays on your device. We never send your results to any server.
• Cloudflare Pages — Global CDN hosting ensures lightning-fast load times no matter where you are.

Accessibility & Inclusivity

We believe typing tools should be accessible to everyone. TypeFury is designed to work across devices and screen sizes, from desktop monitors to tablets and phones. We use high-contrast colors and clear, readable fonts so that the interface is comfortable for extended use.

Sound effects and background music are fully optional and disabled by default — you can enjoy TypeFury in complete silence if you prefer. All interactive elements are keyboard-navigable, and we continue to improve accessibility based on user feedback.

TypeFury is operated by InvokeSudo LLC, an independent United States–based publisher of practical web tools and guides. The site grew out of a personal frustration with the bloated, ad-heavy typing-test sites that dominate search results — we wanted something fast, clean, and genuinely useful, with original written guides to back it up.

JC serves as the editor responsible for TypeFury's content and product direction. Every guide on this site is written and reviewed in-house — no syndicated content, no AI-generated filler. When new keyboards, ergonomics research, or typing techniques are worth covering, we update the relevant guide and bump its Last updated date.

We fund the site through minimal, non-intrusive advertising — no subscriptions, no premium tiers, no selling user data. Every feature is free, and your typing test results stay private on your device (we don't store them on any server).
